Benefits of Navy ROTC
Reach your fullest potential and expand your limits...
  • Learn to lead
  • Serve your country
  • See the world
  • Earn some tuition

Invaluable Leadership Experience
Every day in Navy ROTC brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to push yourself to new limits. Our program provides leadership training in numerous forms, such as: hold a position of responsibility in our student battalion, organize a drill competition, receive guidance and mentoring from our active duty officers and chiefs, lead a physical training session, manage the balloon handlers in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade, work on a student magazine, lead your squad through an obstacle course, train incoming new students on the basics of the military...The opportunities are endless and the rewards and experience will last for the rest of your life.

Take Pride in Serving Your Country
Join the ranks of heros that have come before you and serve to protect the way of life you and those close to you enjoy every day.

Take the Opportunity to See the World
See the world from a different point of view: watch the sunset over the Indian ocean from the cockpit of an F/A-18 fighter; watch polar bears at the north pole from the sail of a nuclear submarine; enjoy the skyline of Hong Kong from the deck of an aircraft carrier; or hit the surf and sand of a remote beach with a platoon of Marines. As an NROTC Midshipman you will begin your exploration of the world - every summer you will have the chance to spend a month with the active duty Navy or Marine Corps and have the choice to do it either at home or overseas. Last summer our unit sent students to Virginia, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Singapore, Guam, Japan, Italy, and Spain!

Let the US Navy/Marine Corps Help Pay for College
Navy ROTC offers many different program options that either cover full tuition or provide payments to be used towards tuition. Additionally, some programs offer payments for books and monthly stipends.
